WISK for short!
Meeting twice a month to knit, sew, natter, drink tea and eat biscuits. Next meeting is 30th September at Tina’s.
Current projects: Finishing our Clean Rivers Water Scape.
Recent Projects: Drawstring bags for Afghan refugee women and children, a new Sparkling WI table cloth, felt brooches, strawberry coasters and bunting for SWWI Anniversary Tea Party.
Ongoing project include knitting very small baby clothes for premature babies and sewing items for breast cancer patients. We have also made Christmas stockings for the children at the women’s refuge.
