About Our Group

We now have over thirty members registered in 2025, and we are in the lucky position where we regularly receive enquiries from prospective new members throughout the year.

As a relatively new WI we are still evolving our traditions; we don’t sing Jerusalem.  We now have a beautiful waterscape banner made for us by our members and our wishes for a Clean River.

The social evening meetings are filled with a lot of chat and laughter, home made cake and the odd glass of wine.

We have an interesting and varied speaker programme, a series of social events held throughout the year including theatre trips and dinners, walks, and an established craft group and monthly coffee mornings.
